Born and raised in Northwest Iowa, I moved to Chicago in 2011 to pursue a professional career in Arts Administration at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Throughout the last decade, I have made valuable contributions to the growth and success of the organization’s training initiatives. I co-created, administered, and oversaw financial management for department programming, generating at its peak, $1.6M in yearly revenue.

My love for business has extended beyond the bounds of my administrative career and into my artistic pursuits. Upon joining BOOM CRACK! Dance Company in 2012, I began this interweaving by assisting with small-scale projects and administrative tasks within the company. These responsibilities quickly expanded when I stepped into a director role. I currently work pro-bono as the Finance and Operations Director for BOOM CRACK! Dance Company and BOOM BOX Dance Company, a role through which I assist in the molding and actuation of the company's mission.

In addition to being a businesswoman and skilled leader, I serve as a creator, educator, artistic director, and performer. Starting dance at the age five gave me the opportunity to study multiple disciplines and techniques molding me into a diverse artist. My artistic focus shifted towards industry hip hop upon moving to the Windy City. I have acquired choreography residencies throughout the US, teaching engagements, speciality projects, and performance honors. In an effort to provide dancers with training and motivation to reach their full potential, I am proud to serve as the Artistic Director of BANG BANG! Dance Company; an affiliate training company to BOOM CRACK! Dance Company. Additionally, I am the Assistant Artistic Director of BOOM BOX Dance Company, and choreographer for BOOM CRACK! Dance Company.
