Krista’s professional background spans arts administration, program development, operations, leadership, and creative strategy. She brings an integrative approach, shaped by 15+ years in the field, that combines business acumen with a deep understanding of the artistic process.

Program Leadership, Operations, & Creative Administration

Krista spent 15 years at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, where she played a key role in the organization’s training programs. Her work included operational leadership, financial coordination, curriculum support, and system-building for programs generating more than $1.6M in annual revenue.

At BOOM CRACK! Dance Company, she serves as Finance & Operations Director, supporting strategic planning, organizational structure, budgeting, and long-term program development. In parallel, Krista works closely with Joe Lanteri, Founder of New York City Dance Alliance and Executive Director of Steps on Broadway. She contributes to operations, program coordination, scheduling, and communications across large-scale training, touring, and professional development initiatives. Her work supports complex, multi-city programs serving thousands of dancers annually, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

Having earned her Master's in Business from the University of Iowa, Krista leverages her academic and professional experience to inform decision-making, streamline processes, and support program growth.​
